Gibbs & Dandy Celebrate Award Win with Build Aviator

Builders’ merchant Gibbs & Dandy is celebrating after winning a leading industry award for its partnership with Build Aviator which has delivered real value for its customers.

The company, which has 29 branches across the UK, picked up the award for Best Customer Service of the Year at the Builders Merchant Awards. The Build Aviator services are designed to make building projects simpler, faster, cost-effective and compliant. Gibbs & Dandy has been instrumental in bringing these services to market.

The award ceremony, held at Hilton Park Lane Hotel in London on Friday 24th November, brought together 650 key industry figures to celebrate excellence throughout the merchant sector. Joanna Lumley OBE was on hand to present Gibbs & Dandy Sales Director Andrew Cushing with the accolade.

The Build Aviator SAP Assessment service uses an integrated product library with thousands of specified products, commercially-validated and all in stock. It enables developers and architects to make early decisions on product specification, confident they will be compliant with building regulations. This is then connected to an Estimating Service enabling builders to accurately forecast project costs and schedules.

Earlier this year, the Build Aviator service was also praised by Gibbs & Dandy customer Fairfield Homes, after it played a key role in securing the luxury housebuilder’s Single Unit Development of the Year title at the LABC Warranty Brick Awards.
